another version of the vintage rolled hairstyle

After I posted the picture below on social media, several people asked me how I did the style.  I tried to explain it the best I could, but decided a video tutorial might be easier (and you all seem to LOVE hair tutorials!).

This is another version of the basic rolled hairstyle I shared last year but the twist continues all the way to the back of the head.  In the video I used regular bobby pins to secure my hair, but have also used a combination of pins and the flexi clips, as sen above.   You can really play around with this hairstyle using different clips, rolling the hair higher on your head, or even winding the ends into a bun if your hair is long.  I’d love to see what you come up with, so tag me on IG @our_wood_home!

And now, the video!  Hopefully the quality is okay, and my instructions are clear!  Oh, one thing I forgot to mention is that my hair always stays wet throughout the day if I do not do it on dry hair.  My hair is very thick so the air can’t get through the twist well enough, and if you find this happening to you, you can always blow dry the style on low heat to get most of the dampness out.
