check in for The Power of a Praying Wife book study

Good morning, friends.  As you likely remember, I had wanted to do a book study on Stormie Omartian’s book The Power of a Praying Wife and correspond with participants via e-mail.  The idea was to send out an e-mail at the start of the week with an assigned chapter to read and the questions to reflect on, then share thoughts and insights in a private group on Facebook.

Admittedly, I only had a few participants sign up for the e-mails, which was fine, because at least I had some interest!  But then my number revealed that only half of those subscribers had actually opened the messages I sent.  I had such high hopes for this study, but I am not going to continue with it at this time. Honestly, there is a lot of work that goes into it on my end, since I need to assemble the questions, format the e-mail, and schedule it to be sent out.

If there is a greater interest after this post goes live, then I will reinstate the e-mails, but if not, then I am going to put this on the back burner and maybe revisit it in a few months.

    • You could still join in and participate in the assigned questions if you’d like (there are scriptures to read and then questions based on those as well as on your opnions).
