fashion: job interview

Sweater: RW&Co
Skirt: Smart Set
Tights: Joe Fresh
Shoes: Payless

Earlier this week I had a job interview at a jewellery store’s Pandora counter.  And I got the job!  It’s only seasonal, but that’s fine by me.  I consider myself kind of an expert at Pandora because I’ve been receiving their beads from my husband for almost 5 years now:)  Plus I have 3 pairs of earrings that I love.
This is the outfit I wore for my interview.  I chose it because it looks professional, but still youthful (after all, I’m only 23!).  The sweater is new (on sale at RW&Co for $15 regular $55!!!!!) but I’ve had the rest of the outfit since last year.  The skirt is stretchy so it fits both my narrow waist and fuller hips, plus the asymmetrical hemline is adorable.  The tights have a subtle diamond pattern that adds some fun to anything they’re worn with and the shoes are just so darn classy.  My makeup here is a bit of concealer and liquid liner.  I ended up doing a red lip after I took the pictures, but it looked really nice.

I’m super obsessed with tucking my sweaters into my skirt or dress pants. You’d never know this sweater is bum length!

swingy skirt :)

I love this Old Navy coat paired with an RW&Co scarf.  My kitty is super curious about what I’m doing…

she is not fat, I swear…she just looks big from this angle.

When I shop I buy pieces that I love.  I don’t care if it’s trendy or not.  If I know I will wear it for more than 1 season, I buy it.  Case in point: that coat is about 3 years old!
