Happy Victoria Day!

Fellow Canadians are no doubt enjoying this long weekend and GORGEOUS weather, myself included.  I had planned to write out a post on the weekend, but Saturday my dad came over and helped me with a project and yesterday evening David and I went to a BBQ, which left me zero time for blogging.

So for now, I’ll have to make due with sharing a list of my personal favourite posts from my blog.

why I wear skirts (almost) all the time
In this post I share my personal reasons for not wearing pants, but skirts and dresses instead. It’s one of the most popular posts on my blog.

why I quit my job
Last spring I quit the only permanent job I’ve had to become a full time homemaker, which is something a lot of people can’t understand, so I wrote a post about it.

encouragement for young homemakers
Being a homemaker can be hard, so I did a miniseries of encouraging posts for anyone who may be struggling.

growing out a pixie cut
After having super short hair for a couple years I decided a change was in order, and began the process of growing my hair out.  The pixie cut series is another popular one on the blog.

my issues with feminism
This posts talks about why I’d never consider myself a feminist.  I wrote this honestly and openly, and was expecting some negative feedback, but have not received it yet (which is fine by me!).

why (and how) you should dress well at home
So many women don’t make an effort to dress well unless they are leaving the house, but I share some reasons why they should reconsider.

Lilla Rose Flexi Clip review
I’m officially a Lilla Rose fan!  If you have never herd of these awesome hair accessories, or are unsure if they are possible for shorter hair, read this post.

being thankful when you don’t feel like it
My hope in sharing this post was to encourage people to look for God’s blessings in every situation.
easy and practical ways to save money
Who doesn’t like to save money?  Here are sooooo many practical and doable ideas.

Happy long weekend!
