No Pants November outfits week 1

Friends, it warms my heart to see so many of you participating in ‪#‎OWHNoPantsNovember‬ ! A special thank you goes out to the ladies of the modest fashion Facebook group I’m in (you know who you are!).

We are only 1 week into the challenge but I’m already seeing so many great outfits that celebrate femininity through the wearing of skirts/dresses.

My hope with this challenge is that everyone who sees the posts and photos will be encouraged to try wearing skirts and dresses more often. I’m also hoping that new friendships will develop:) I’ve already “met” some wonderful women I likely would not have known had it not been for this challenge.

Here are the outfits I’ve worn this week.

Day 1: lazy at home.

Day 2: cleaning out one of the bedrooms.

Day 3: organizing kitchen.

Day 5: youth group at church.

Remember back when the phrase “winning” was the thing to say?  Well, I’m bringing it back because I feel like I’m winning at hair styles for this fourth outfit! I simply teased and pinned the top sections of my hair and then braided and pinned the sides. I added my Flexi Clip to cover the bobby pin and to add some fun.  I’m at the stage with where my grown out pixie cut is rally bothering me.  The length is getting shaggy, so this style is the perfect solution!

Day 5: blogging and cooking.

Day 6: chores at a family member’s house (I cheated a bit and took these photos yesterday because I knew I wouldn’t be able to do them today!).

  1. I love how you play around with different textures and patterns. It’s really inspiring. Also, I’ve been thinking about getting a flexi-clip for years but have never sat down and ordered one, they’re so cute!

    • Thanks Elizabeth! I highly recommend getting a flexi clip, especially since you have longer hair; you can use it for so many styles!
