#NoPantsNovember outfits 6 & 7

Bonus weekend post!!!!!!!!!!!  I usually take a break from blogging on weekends but today, since David is out for a while, I figured I’d quickly whip up a post on 2 #NoPantsNovember outfits.  I cheated a bit and took these photos today, even though I wore the first outfit a few weeks ago.  I didn’t have time to get a shot when I actually wore it, so I put the clothes on again and got a few…interesting pictures.

I wore this outfit to work at the library and a branch meeting.  As I’ve mentioned before, there is really no dress code at the library but I prefer to dress up a bit.  I’m wearing pants as tights because they are super tight now…so tight that I don’t really feel comfortable wearing them. However, they are great for layering under dresses!!

This next picture is to demonstrate LAYERING which is something I’ve been doing since grade school.  Seriously, I used to wear tank tops under all my shirts since I was 8 years old.  Now I’m really into layering pants under dresses for warmth.  In this outfit I’m wearing 6 articles of clothing: tank top, black shirt, sweater, leggings, socks, skirt.

Knee socks are an awesome way to add even more layers without adding bulk.  I stayed warm in this outfit while (hopefully!!) looking presentable too.  In hindsight I’m glad I wore something more casual today because I helped a little girl out with the craft at the library today and ended up covered in glitter glue.
