weekly outfits (55) + MYW April Fashion Challenge 5

Sorry for the delay getting this post up!! Here are the outfits I wore over the past week.

The challenge for April 28 was “longer lengths”, which was easy for me!  I paired this printed skirt with solid pieces for a look I really like.

I finished knitting myself this little wrap, and wore it to church on Sunday.  The challenge was supposed to be “country inspired” but it was quite chilly this day.

The challenge ended, and we began the month of May.  I have been itching to wear more spring like clothes, but the weather has been iffy, so I have had to go back to my heavier (and darker) clothing.

I have been making and wearing headbands recently, usually with a braid, but I kept my hair loose for this day.

This top is really old, and is actually from the children’s section of Walmart!  It fits well, and I like the print, so I keep on wearing it:) I added a long sleeved shirt under it, and wore it with a striped skirt, because it is still too cold for shorter hemlines.

I am obviously not very creative, since I have worn this skirt twice in one week! But again, it was cold out, I was cold, so I opted for comfort.

I had grand plans for gardening this weekend, but sadly we are expecting rain. Oh well…shower bring flowers, right?
