I’ve had a busier than normal week and haven’t had the time to take many outfit photos. But I did manage enough to make it worth posting!
The weather has been bitterly cold recently, so I’ve had to bundle on the layers. In this outfit, I’m wearing a tank top, long sleeved top, dress, then sweater. I also wore leggings (as you can see) with my riding boots. Layering a sweater over a dress is something I’ve gotten into recently and it’s a great way to stretch your wardrobe. See an example here and here.
I used my new Flexi Clip (called Copper Rose) as a scarf accessory instead of in my hair. I am really liking the look of the clip with the scarf!
Here’s the outfit I wore with the clipped scarf. I took an otherwise boring outfit and made it a bit more special by adding a fun scarf AND accessory.
This outfit is nothing special but it was quick to assemble, warm, and looks presentable (in my opinion!). The cardigan I wore is actually one I save for summer since it has shorter sleeves, but I chose it because the colour brightened up a dreary winter day.
I’ve said it before, but I will say it again: I’m so done with winter! Spring weather can’t come soon enough.
